Introduction

If you want to become a good coder, then writing clean code is essential. Through this infographic, I want to share some tips for writing clean code.

There were several challenges in the process of making this infographic on Piktochart:

It took time to select good sources of information. There were many posts written by a lot of people about writing clean code, so I had to go through a number of such posts and pick top tips which are mentioned in many posts.
Setting a layout was not an easy task, either. Luckily, Piktochart offered a number of templates, and thanks to that, I was able to quickly form the layout for my inforgraphic.
It is important to maintain a balance between information (the content) and appearance (the look) of the inforgraphic. There were many details in discussion about writing clean code, but in order to maintain the briefness of the information and the elegant look of the infographic, I only selected important parts of text, and illustrated with image examples. Text colors and effects were also used to highlight emphasized parts.
Lastly, the content had to be proofread. It’s just not a good feeling to let a small spelling mistake ruin the whole thing.
